~ To ignite a lifelong love of learning

The Saltwater School is an independent school opening in the Comox Valley this coming September (2010).

Our intention is to provide a holistic education and to create a school and community that fosters a love of learning.  With a rich curriculum filled with play, movement, music and storytelling we seek to nurture curiosity and compassion within the children.  There will be time each day both indoors and outdoors: for play, for class activities, to garden, to go for a walk and spend time in the community.

Through an integrated approach we hope the children will find wonder in the world and strength in their unique capabilities.  More in depth curriculum information can be found on our curriculum page.

We will open our doors with a Kindergarten and Grade One Class for which we are now accepting applications.
