Facilitator Vicki Vanderhorst says that “ hundreds of years of observation have led to the understanding that how people act and respond to life fall roughly into four groups. Within one family there can be a child who likes to stick close to mom and/or dad and watch what is going on around, while another leaps before they look and is constantly pushing the boundaries. Understanding these differences and how to work with them is vital to supporting your children’s learning and growing – and sustaining our own peace of mind. What you will learn in this workshop is also transferable to everyone in your life: friends, siblings, neighbours, co-workers – and yourself!”

When: Tuesdays June 15 and 22 from 7:30 – 9 pm This is a two-part workshop, i.e. the first night is a pre-requisite for the second night.

Where: Creekside Commons – Main Building (next to parking lot) - 2202 Lambert Drive
Directions: Cumberland Road, south on Arden, left onto Morello & follow street through into Creekside Commons.
Please park in spot marked “visitor.”

May Festival- May 8th

Please join us to celebrate Spring’s full arrival. We will create flower wreathes and sing and dance around our may pole.

When: May 8th 10am-12pm.

Where: Park off Cousins Rd. near Tin Town.

(On Cousins Rd. there is a path between house 2245 and business 2251- follow the path to the open green space. The path is bike, wheelchair and stroller accessible.)

To Bring:

Flowers to decorate head wreathes (stem 1 inch or longer)
Snack to share
Blankets, chairs, cups and plates, etc.

Information Evening

We would like to invite you to our upcoming Information Evening. The evening will consist of a presentation by a Saltwater Board member, a circle activity, an update on Saltwater School and time for questions. Families will be able to take application packages home and sign onto our free registration list. We hope you can make it to one of these interactive, informative and fun evenings.
